It’s definitely not about getting the boss’ coffee or doing busywork. On your very first day, you start building the skills you need for a successful career. It’s everything from high-level interactions with the Divisional Vice President to hands-on management training to fundamental store-level operations.
- Participate in executive-level District Manager meetings.
- Shadow the District Manager and Store Manager and learn the essentials of store operations.
- Observe how the divisional warehouse and office support our business.
- Build and demonstrate your leadership skills.
Quite simply, the 10-week ALDI District Manager Internship gives you unprecedented access to the inner workings of a highly successful retail operation. It’s a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the District Manager position. In fact, many have gone on to our District Manager Program after college graduation – where the starting salary is $70K, includes a company car, international opportunities, and more.
If you're working towards a Bachelor’s Degree, (3.0 GPA or higher preferred), and are ready to discover a career with more, visit your college placement office or career services center for more information or to leave a resume.

Laura Elbert
|
| Director of Operations and DM Internship Graduate |
“Many of my peers thought I’d be working in a grocery store all summer. They didn’t realize all of the responsibilities I’d have as a District Manager Intern. Of course, when they found out more about the actual District Manager position and the rewards,
they were a lot more interested in what I was doing.”

“I had the privilege of not only working with two very different stores and their employees, but I also had the opportunity to work with two District Managers, Warehouse Supervisors, the Director of Operations, and the Vice President. Not many interns working for any company get that kind of exposure.”
